A Letter from Bob Dieterich

Dear Concerned Citizen,

It is with a great sense of pride and dedication to duty that I have announced my candidacy for the United States Congress.  I proudly served this Nation as a military officer and am ready to serve Her again, bringing a new culture of service and leadership to the Halls of Congress.  I am grateful for the full support and blessings of my family and friends.  I am equally encouraged by the enthusiasm received from supporters I have come to know while making this important decision.

From my parents, I learned my core values:  honesty, integrity, faith in God, love of family and selfless service to community and country.  My military service further broadened my character to recognize the importance and courage to always do what is right.  In my professional career, each individual who has sought my assistance, has been treated with dignity, respect and an understanding of their needs. My measure of success has been the satisfaction of watching local families prosper and small businesses expand and thrive, right here in the Mohawk and Hudson Valleys.

Like the majority of Americans and residents of the Capital Region, I am concerned about our future and that of our children’s. Our Congress is failing us.  American families are suffocating beneath mountains of debt.  We are on an unsustainable spending path that will burden our children and grandchildren for generations to come.  For the first time in the history of this Nation, the opportunities for future generations are limited.  We must strive for a better tomorrow.

The election of 2012 puts America at a crossroads.  One road takes you to a balanced budget, deficit reduction, tax reform and maintaining America’s status as a global leader – OR– you can take the other road and continue to increase debt, mandate needless regulations, finance more failed stimulus packages and weaken national security.

Casting your vote on November 6, 2012,  may be the most crucial vote of your lifetime. In the months to come my priority will be to earn your trust and support.  If you give me the opportunity to serve you in Washington, I am confident that YOU AND I can alter the course of this Nation.  I look forward to learning the issues most important to you and your family and I hope you will join me on this journey to prosperity.

Respectfully,

Bob
